Abstract Submission Guideline:

Abstracts should be submitted online via the submission system on the website.

Abstracts submitted via e-mail and post will not be evaluated. The abstract submission system requires separate membership for each congress on user basis. If you do not have a membership account created for TSCRS 2023, you can start by creating a new account.

Abstracts will be published just as same as they are submitted. So to avoid typos, please check your abstract text before submitting it.

For the abstract’s being included in the program and published in abstracts book, the presenting author should have congress registration.

Abstract Categories

The abstracts can be submitted as oral, poster or video presentations. 

You are required to select one the abstract groups below.

Abstract groups:

  • Anal physiology and pelvic floor disorders (constipation, incontinence, outlet obstruction, rectocele, rectal prolapse)
  • Inflammatory bowel diseases
  • Colonoscopy, colorectal polyps, polypectomy
  • Colorectal emergencies, complications in colorectal surgery
  • Colorectal nursing
  • Colorectal cancer and other malignant tumors
  • Minimally invasive surgery
  • Benign anorectal disorders (Hemorrhoidal disease, anal fistula and abscess, pilonidal disease, hidradenitis, anal pruritus)
  • Miscellaneous

The abstracts submitted for 'XIIth National and Ist International Colorectal surgery Nursing Congress', should select 'Colorectal Nursing' among the abstract groups.

The abstract of the video presentation must be summited through abstract submission system. After submitting the abstract, the video presentation in one of the following formats mov, mp4, wmv must be sent by large file transfer programs (wetransfer ,sendgb, google drive) at The abstract reference number and the presenter name must be stated on the explanation part of the file transfer program. The video must be no more than 6 minutes and include audio narration / voiceover.

Writing your abstract

  • Academic titles should not be used.
  • Only the first letter of the names and surnames should be capital.
  • The institutions and addresses should be added.
  • Only the very first letter of the abstract title should be capital except the abbreviations. 
  • The expansion of the abbreviations should be stated in parenthesis at the first spot it’s used. 
  • The word count for the abstract body excluding the title, authors and institutions is 300.
